Keyless Entry System
Keyless entry systems can be a great way to secure your rental property without having to use physical keys. These systems allow guests and tenants to enter the building with the use of a code or using their smartphones. These systems can be paired with intercoms to allow video and audio communications. This gives people a variety of ways to enter buildings. Certain keyless entry systems run on cloud which allows them to be controlled remotely and provide more advanced features.
You can install a keyless entry system in any type of property, whether it is commercial or residential. First, the hardware needs to be installed at each entryway. The system then needs to be controlled and configured via central consoles, or a smartphone app. The global keyless entry systems market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 11.8 percent between 2016 and 2022, according to Technavio. The growth in the market is attributed to the growing demand for security systems in commercial vehicles.
Many people are afraid of being locked out of their home and therefore keep spare keys in a safe location. This poses a significant security risk, since criminals know where people hide their keys, and can easily find them. Installing a keyless entry in your residence is the best way to prevent this. This will stop you from ever being locked out of your house again.

Transponder Chip
The transponder chip - also known as "chip key" is an electronic microchip embedded in the head of your car key. It's also one of the most important security measures in your vehicle. The term "transponder" originates from the combination of the responder and transmitter. This is because, after the key has been placed in the ignition and the key turned into the ignition, the antenna of your car sends out a blast of radio frequency energy to a transponder chip. The chip then responds with its unique identification code to the ring that is attached to it and the car's computer will discern that code and determine whether or not it's a legitimate key.
The key must be a transponder key to start the car. If it is not, then the vehicle will remain in motion. The chip is protected by a special polycarbonate coating which prevents it from being copied by regular mechanical keys or copied with laser equipment. Beishir Lock and Security carries the largest selection of transponder keys at less than the price of dealerships selling cars.
Transponder chips first began to gain popularity in the 80's, when GM introduced them into the Corvette. replacement fiat key decreased vehicle thefts because it rendered hot-wiring a thing of past. This is the most basic explanation of a chip key. If you have other questions, please contact us.
Immobiliser System
The engine immobiliser (also called the anti-theft system) is a vital aspect of your vehicle's security. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or Smart Key fob, the transponder chip inside sends an encoded code to the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The ECU makes sure that the information sent from the chip matches the one that is stored in it prior to allowing the engine to start.
Your car's immobiliser is designed to stop theft in this manner. If the code inside the chip doesn't match with the code, the ECU stops the flow of current to the fuel pump relay as well as the injection system, which prevents the engine from beginning. The immobiliser can also disable the starter motor or ignition coil to prevent the engine from getting started by force.
Unfortunately, this system is not 100% secure. Thieves can crack the code that unlocks your car's immobiliser system and make it start. The latest versions of the system utilize a longer cryptographic code that will make it difficult to determine.
Car immobilisers are required since 1998, however many cars had rudimentary immobiliser systems fitted prior to that. While immobilisers make it more difficult to steal a vehicle, it does not stop thieves from towing your vehicle away or breaking in to steal your possessions.
Key Replacement
Losing a remote or key fob can be expensive and stressful. Locksmiths must gain access to the vehicle to decode the VIN or run it, and then reprogram the new replacement key to erase any signatures that were previously stored in the computer for all keys that have been stolen or lost.
Key replacements will be more expensive if your car has a transponder or integrated security chip. The chips transmit an alert to your car in order to verify that you are the driver and allow the doors to be opened and the engine to be started. The typical price for an additional smart key is about $160.
